Privacy Policy
Effective date: 4 September 2026
Last updated: 4 September 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Fetchbit handles information when you visit the official Fetchbit website at https://fetchbit.getfetchbit.workers.dev, use its forms, or follow its links. It applies to the website only and does not describe data handling inside the Fetchbit desktop application.
Fetchbit is an independent software project operated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Questions about this Policy may be sent to fetchbitapp@gmail.com.
2. Scope
This Policy covers the public website, including its informational, download, support, partnership, and legal pages. A third-party website or service has its own privacy practices, even when Fetchbit links to it.
The downloadable Fetchbit software may have separate privacy notices that describe the application's own behavior. Those application-specific practices are outside the scope of this website Policy.
3. Information Processed When You Visit
When you request a page, the website and its infrastructure providers necessarily process technical request information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, language headers, and security-related request data. The website may also use your selected language and theme to provide the requested presentation.
Fetchbit does not operate user accounts or a centralized user-profile dashboard on this website.
4. Information You Provide Through Forms
The support form may collect your name, email address, support category, message, Fetchbit version, operating system, relevant page and language context, technical request context, and image attachments you choose to provide.
The partnership form may collect your name, email address, company name, partnership type, website or profile URL, message, and relevant language or page context.
Please provide only information needed for your request. Do not submit passwords, authentication tokens, financial details, official identity documents, or another person's confidential information unless it is necessary, lawful, and specifically requested through an appropriate channel.
5. Website Analytics
In production, Fetchbit uses Google Tag Manager and related analytics technologies to understand how visitors use the website and whether important interactions work as intended.
Limited events may include page views, page path and title, language or locale, language changes, download-button interactions and download outcomes, supported-sites or support interactions, donation interactions, and successful support or partnership form submissions. Fetchbit's event code does not include the contents of form fields, attachments, Turnstile tokens, names, email addresses, or messages in these analytics events.
The precise technologies, identifiers, and retention applied by tags configured through Google Tag Manager are controlled through the relevant provider and project settings and may be subject to the provider's own policies.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
The website uses functional browser storage, including local storage and cookies, to remember choices such as language and light or dark theme. These preferences help the website render consistently on later visits and do not create a Fetchbit user account.
Analytics technologies delivered through Google Tag Manager may use browser technologies according to the tags actually configured and the provider's settings. Fetchbit does not describe unconfirmed advertising or remarketing cookies as active website features.
You can clear or restrict browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so may reset your website preferences or affect features that rely on them.
7. How We Use Information
Fetchbit uses website information to deliver and secure pages, remember preferences, respond to support and partnership requests, diagnose reported problems, prevent spam and abuse, understand website usage, improve content and navigation, measure download flows, and comply with applicable obligations or protect legal rights.
Information submitted through a form is used to handle and follow up on that request. A successful form submission may also generate a limited analytics event indicating that the form worked, without including the submitted form content in that event.
8. Sharing and Service Providers
Fetchbit shares information only as needed to operate the website, deliver communications, provide requested links or downloads, protect the service, or comply with applicable legal obligations. Providers may process technical connection data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Current website-related providers include Cloudflare for hosting, request handling, and security; Cloudflare Turnstile for form protection; Resend and the configured recipient mailbox for email delivery; Google Tag Manager and configured analytics technologies; and GitHub for official release information and downloads.
9. Cloudflare and Turnstile
The website runs through Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process network and request information needed to deliver and protect the website.
Support and partnership forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. When you submit a protected form, Turnstile generates a verification token that is sent to the Fetchbit website and verified with Cloudflare. Fetchbit does not maintain a dedicated database of Turnstile tokens.
The website also uses request IP information temporarily for rate limiting and abuse prevention. This rate-limit state is held in temporary Worker memory rather than a dedicated visitor database in the current implementation.
10. Resend and Email Delivery
After a form passes validation and anti-abuse checks, the submitted information is sent through Resend to the configured Fetchbit support or partnership mailbox. Support attachments, when provided, are included in the email delivery.
The current website does not store a separate database copy of these submissions. Resend and the recipient email provider may process and retain email content, delivery information, and attachments according to their own systems and policies.
11. Data Retention
Support and partnership correspondence is handled by email and retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, follow up, maintain appropriate records, protect the service, or meet applicable obligations, and may then be manually deleted.
Functional preferences remain in your browser until they expire, are replaced, or are cleared. Temporary form data and verification tokens are kept only as needed to complete or reject the request in the current implementation.
Exact retention periods for information controlled by Google, Cloudflare, Resend, GitHub, or an email provider are governed by their systems, settings, and policies. Fetchbit does not promise deletion from a third-party system where it lacks the technical ability or legal authority to perform it.
12. Security
Fetchbit uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to an independent website, including HTTPS, server-side validation, request limits, attachment restrictions, and Turnstile protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
If you believe information sent to Fetchbit has been exposed or misused, contact fetchbitapp@gmail.com with enough detail for the issue to be reviewed, but do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
13. Downloads and Third-Party Links
The website links to official Fetchbit releases and other external destinations, including GitHub, donation pages, social profiles, and supported services. Following a link or downloading a file causes your browser to communicate with that third party, which may receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address, browser data, referring page, and request time.
Fetchbit does not control the privacy practices, content, availability, or retention policies of third-party destinations. Review their notices before providing information to them.
14. Children's Privacy
The website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has submitted personal information through a Fetchbit form, they may contact Fetchbit to request review and appropriate action, subject to applicable obligations.
15. International Processing
Fetchbit is operated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and uses service providers that may process information in other countries. Where information is sent to a provider, its processing locations and safeguards depend on that provider's infrastructure, account configuration, and applicable terms.
16. Privacy Questions and Requests
You may contact fetchbitapp@gmail.com with a privacy question or a request concerning information that Fetchbit reasonably controls, such as support or partnership correspondence. Include enough information to identify the relevant correspondence, but do not send identity documents unless they are specifically requested and necessary.
Fetchbit does not operate an account portal, automatic account-deletion tool, or centralized data-export system. The ability to access, correct, or delete information depends on what Fetchbit holds, applicable obligations, identity verification where appropriate, and the technical controls available for third-party systems.
17. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be updated when the website, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised last-updated date. Where appropriate, Fetchbit may provide additional notice of a material change.
